governor on Tuesday issued a stern
warning telling the Herdsmen not to try
coming into his state as he would take
drastic measures against them that
would lead to the loss of their
livelihood. He declared that if they did
come, he would have the source of water
for the cattle poisoned.

people in the
case of an attack to poison the water

Governor Fayose stated this on Tuesday,
while speaking on the topic: “Journalism
and Politics; two sides of a coin,” at the
World Press
Freedom Day organised by the Nigeria
Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State

the insurgents what they’re made of. He
said it was time for the Fulani to stop
killing.
“It seems Boko Haram has changed
identity to herdsmen now. You as
journalists must speak
out, the killings are under reported. Is it
about the
mass burial in Kaduna State, the Agatu
saga or
the recent killing which happened on
Monday? Ask questions,” he said.
